Being a Project Manager at Hoogwegt means being the bridge between people and technology. We are looking for someone who thrives on making things happen. You will join an international team where IT and business truly intersect, working in a young, positive, and energetic environment. This is a role for someone open-minded, analytical, and eager to shape their own path within a global framework.

You will ensure that complex projects stay on track and deliver real value. Whether it’s a deep-dive IT integration involving system connections and data pipelines or a business-driven sustainability initiative, you will coordinate the moving parts and translate technical challenges into clear results.

What you will be doing

  • Taking ownership of projects from start to finish—from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinating cross-functional and international teams, including IT, business units, external vendors, and consultants to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitoring project progress, tracking KPIs, managing risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitating regular project status meetings, steering committee presentations, and management reporting to executive leadership at our headquarters.
  • Ensuring adherence to global standards for project governance, quality assurance, documentation, and compliance (including NIS2, ISO 27001, and GDPR).
  • Driving change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, training coordination, and user adoption strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and knowledge sharing to enhance project delivery capabilities across the organization.

Who you are

We are looking for a professional who is ready for a significant step up in their career. We value your mindset, your energy, and your ability to adapt. You are someone who asks open questions, listens to feedback, and remains flexible when things change.

Specifically, you bring:

  • Around 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT and/or in business transformation projects
  • Analytical and structured way of working, with the ability to handle technical concepts with ease.
  • Communicative and positive personality—you are a "doer" who knows how to connect people and keep momentum high.
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (such as Business, IT, or Engineering).
  • Fluency in English, as you will be operating in a truly worldwide environment.
  • A hands-on mentality; you are comfortable taking the lead but are also happy to dive into the details when needed.

Our offer

At Hoogwegt, we believe your career should be as dynamic as the market we operate in. That's why we offer:
  • An informal and open company culture where you can be yourself;
  • The freedom to shape your work in your own way;

  • A challenging sports program with boot camp, running, or yoga under professional guidance;
  • An ideal location in a modern office opposite Arnhem Central Station, easily accessible by public transport.
