Human Resoures Business Partner
Hoogwegt is a global leader in the dairy and commodity trading industry, with 450 professionals worldwide operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for a sharp, process-driven HR Business Partner to join our team.
In this role, you will act as the strategic and tactical partner specifically for our commercial business units. You will report directly to the Global HR Director and collaborate closely with the wider HR team to ensure we have the right people in the right place. We are looking for someone who thrives in the high-energy rhythm of a trading environment and brings a bold, advisor-led approach to a fast-evolving landscape. This is a role for a professional who enjoys the intersection of business strategy, commercial drive, and people dynamics.
What you will do
- Serve as the dedicated HRBP for our commercial teams, speaking the language of commodity trading and understanding the unique dynamics of our global markets.
- Act as a savvy advisor to commercial leaders and traders, helping them navigate complex organizational dynamics and talent challenges with confidence.
- Beyond the daily business, you will have the freedom to take the lead on a variety of strategic projects. From optimizing international HR processes to developing new people initiatives, there is significant room to leave your mark on a growing global organization.
- Research organizational issues and transform them into scalable, efficient solutions and streamlined HR workflows.
- Partner with the Global HR Director on long-term strategy while maintaining a strong connection with the rest of the HR team to ensure seamless follow-up on agreements and a world-class candidate experience.
Who are you?
- You have 4 to 8 years of solid experience as an HR professional, specifically within commodity trading.
- You are business-savvy and comfortable working with high-performing, direct commercial profiles. You know how to hold your own in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-organized and efficient, you have a natural ability to weigh priorities and move from strategic "thinking" to practical "doing."
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- You are a bold communicator who can level with diverse stakeholders, from the trade floor to senior management, with a style that is direct yet collaborative.
- Excellent command of English. Proficiency in Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
What we offer
At Hoogwegt, we offer an environment where entrepreneurship is valued and where you can truly be yourself.
- Numerous opportunities for personal growth and the autonomy to shape and lead your own HR projects.
- A 37.5-hour work week with a modern approach to health, including on-site sports classes (bootcamp, yoga, running) three times a week.
- An exceptionally attractive pension scheme with high employer contributions and collective insurance arrangements.
- Competitive secondary benefits package, including a discretionary annual gratification based on company results.
- A warm welcome into an informal, open culture in a state-of-the-art office located right at Arnhem Central Station.
